Rodakino’s coastline stretches along southern Crete in the Rethymno region, near the boundary with Chania. Set below the hillside village, its beaches lie between Plakias and Frangokastello, where rocky headlands frame wide views across the sea.

The main beach, Korakas, is complemented by nearby Polyrizos, whose shore is backed by olive groves. Moving between the neighbouring beaches brings a change of scenery, with open stretches of coast and smaller spots beside the rocks offering inviting places to swim.

Spend the day enjoying the water, stopping for lunch at a local taverna and relaxing on the shore. With several beaches to explore and the village overlooking the coast, Rodakino makes a pleasant setting for an unhurried seaside escape.
