Seitan Limania Beach is hidden within a narrow inlet on the Akrotiri Peninsula, northeast of Chania. High limestone cliffs frame its small shoreline, where vivid turquoise water contrasts with the pale stone. The winding shape of the cove gives it a distinctive beauty.
Reaching the beach involves following a steep, uneven path from the parking area above. Views of the inlet unfold during the descent, leading to a compact pebbled shore enclosed by towering rock faces. Sturdy shoes and careful footing are needed along the trail.
The beach has no organised facilities, leaving the surrounding landscape as its main attraction. Spend time taking in the clear water, dramatic cliffs and curves of the inlet. This striking corner of Akrotiri offers a memorable glimpse of Crete’s rugged coastline.
