Kaloi Limenes is a small coastal settlement in southern Crete’s Heraklion region, set beside a sheltered bay. The harbour and neighbouring beaches offer an inviting setting for a swim, a seaside walk or a leisurely afternoon overlooking the water.

Near the village, Psili Ammos has fine sand and shallow waters. Makria Ammos provides a longer pebbled shore where the sea becomes deeper, giving visitors a choice of beach settings within the same stretch of coast.

Olive groves around the village add greenery to the landscape, while fuel-storage tanks on the nearby islet of Mikronisi are visible across the bay. This combination of rural surroundings, beaches and port activity gives Kaloi Limenes a distinctive place along Crete’s southern shoreline.
